At Fresno Bully Rescue, the health and safety of our Volunteers, Staff & Doggy Residents is our top priority. Please read below for information regarding visiting & volunteering at our shelter facility. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
Adoption Interests: In an effort to better accommodate visitors, we strongly encourage adoption inquiries to make an appointment. To schedule an appointment to meet adoptable dogs we ask that you please fill out our ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION to directly connect you with our adoptions coordinator. The application is not binding, it simply gets us connected & helps us get to know you a bit better. This will also help us plan your visit more efficiently!
When visiting our facility: We ask that you please stay home if you are feeling sick. We have several hand-washing and hand-sanitizer stations available to use during your visit.
We are also still open for volunteering. Currently active Volunteers may now reserve their volunteer time VIA our Volunteer Portal. Visit the Volunteer Portal to learn more. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please email Matthew@fresnobullyrescue.org to schedule an orientation.
Any other inquiries, please email us in advance so that we can help schedule your visit: firstname.lastname@example.org
Fresno Bully Rescue (FBR) is a volunteer-based, non-profit, no-kill rescue and shelter dedicated to rescuing bully breed dogs (i.e. American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bull Dogs, Bull Terriers, etc.). We are here to provide a healthy and loving temporary home while we look for forever homes for our shelter dogs. We are one of the only breed-specific, no-kill rescues with an actual kennel-facility in California. We house over 45 adult dogs at our facility (with many more puppies and adults in foster homes). Our pet adoption program and support is tailored to help find you the best match for your family and start it off right! We are a 501 (c) (3) public charity and all donations are tax deductible.
Besides rescuing and adopting, FBR is also committed to providing educational services in the community, micro-chipping, and promoting spaying and neutering and responsible ownerships of the bully breeds. In addition, FBR is committed to advocating for the bully breeds by doing educational outreach to the high risk communities about the illegal practice of dog fighting, as well as providing mental & physical rehabilitation and training to our bully residents while in our care. Fresno Bully Rescue is also available to provide guidance and assistance to forever families of our dogs during the transition to their forever home.
